How We Started
Dana Logsdon Roofing & Solar was founded in 1994 by third-generation roofer Dana Logsdon, who began working in his father’s roofing business at just 12 years old. What started as a small, three-person team quickly earned a reputation across San Diego for quality workmanship, honesty, and clear communication.
Today, the company continues under family leadership with Dana’s twins, Riley and Sheridan, guiding the next generation of growth. Together, they’re focused on building a team that takes pride in their craft and delivers a customer experience so good that people can’t help but recommend it.

We are one of only five contractors in our area to have the Platinum Preferred Status—in fact, we represent less than 1% of all roofing contractors in the nation.

We Give Back!
One of our favorite things to do is give back!
We partner with the Roof Deployment Project and the R.I.S.E program through the Gary Sinise foundation.
Every year we work with them to give away roofs to deserving Veterans for free!
Our last three projects you see here were for the Oregon family, the Jacobs family, and the Stacy family! It’s a great way to get our whole team involved to help some awesome people.
